NK ALARM AMPLIFIER

NK alarm amplifiers work with low flow alarm sensors (inductive proximity sensors) to provide immediate alarm notification when flow falls out of range on monitored flow points in a system such as circulating lubrication oil. Monitoring with alarms is commonly used in various other process systems utilizing variable area flow meters, including seal water, cooling water systems, gas flows etc. NK amplifiers are typically installed as part of monitoring systems incorporating EMO multi-tube flow meters. When a flow indicator (float) drops to the bottom of the metering tube, the proximity sensor at the base of the flow tube is triggered, causing a common relay output to switch. The relay provides both a Normally Closed (NC) and a Normally Open (NO) contact for connection to an existing process system, facilitating quick operator response.
